Emily Bett Rickards, born on the 24th of July, 1991 in Canada is a Canadian actor who is best famous for her character Felicity Smoak on The CW TV series Arrow. Rickards, who was raised in British Columbia, is Canadian. Her acting career began at an early age by taking classes in dance, musical theatre and other forms of entertainment. She graduated from high school early and attended the Vancouver Film School, completing the Acting Essentials Course. After finishing the program she auditioned for an open audition which led her to a booking agent. Alida Vocal Studio, Vancouver was the place she studied. Her rapport with Stephen Amell, positive feedback from fans and the sarcastic comments she made led to the initial contract for a single episode guest star.
